MIPAC working wonders with Invensys’s Wonderware Information Server

MIPAC is assisting plant managers to access and act on real time process control reports via a smart device.

Glencore’s Ernest Henry Mine recently engaged MIPAC to introduce Invensys’s Wonderware Information Server technology which generates a live snapshot of how a plant and its equipment is performing and allows for immediate management.

For example, a mine operations manager will know where a bottleneck in production is or a maintenance manager will learn the run time of equipment and can plan which equipment can go for maintenance or be shut down.

It avoids double handling of data and is easily tailored to individual sites.

As an add-on you can even send information about critical breakdowns to someone’s phone or SMS.

The Server easily integrates with the Wonderware system platform but it is also suitable for use with other system platforms.

MIPAC can readily commission this product for mineral processing plants and food and beverage manufacturers.
