MIPAC Supports Salvation Army

06-May-2008 MIPAC, a leader in the provision of process control solutions has signed up as a VIP Table Sponsor at the inaugural Shine Ball 2008.

The Shine Ball is being staged for the first time in winter 2008 and will raise much needed funds for the Salvation Army’s Pindari Women’s Service in Brisbane.

The Shine Ball will be held at the magnificent Giannis at Portside function centre at Hamilton where guests will enjoy a night filled with glamour, unique prizes and auction items, fantastic food and great entertainment.

Pindari is one of only three providers in Brisbane for women in need. It provides short-term crisis accommodation, counselling, legal and medical support, and other services like employment and housing assistance.

Like many non-profit organisations, Pindari operates with a significant shortfall in funding. Sadly, this means that hundreds of women in need are turned away from the service each year.

Port of Brisbane Corporation is the Platinum Sponsor for the Shine Ball.
