MIPAC board makes strategic announcements- promotes long serving manager Eddie De Rivera to top job and formalises global product and customer management.
New Managing Director: MIPAC, a leading provider of process control, instrumentation and electrical engineering solutions, has announced the appointment of Eddie De Rivera to the role of Managing Director along with the introduction of two new senior appointments.
“Eddie brings a wealth of experience to this important position – a role he is taking on in the midst of a major growth phase for our industry.” said Bob Greenelsh, Chairman of the Board, MIPAC. “He has been with us from MIPAC’s beginning and has managed some of our most important projects.”
Eddie joined MIPAC in the late 1990’s and prior to his current appointment he managed key MIPAC projects in Australia and Asia Pacific. Most recently, Eddie successfully managed a major paper mill upgrade project with Norske Skog in Albury, significantly contributing to MIPAC’s growth and diversification.
Eddie will be responsible for expanding MIPAC’s business and has identified MIPAC’s major, global customer base and the introduction of new process control technologies to the market as two of MIPAC’s key strategic focus areas.
A Fresh Approach: During a significant growth phase, the MIPAC board has decided to take a fresh approach to its corporate structure in order to offer the best possible experience to customers. MIPAC has introduced the global roles of Customer Operations Management and Product & Service Portfolio Management.
Tony Mathison is excited to take on the new role of Product Manager and will lead MIPAC’s strategic diversification into the development and sale of new process control technologies. Tony will formalise the overall product management, research and development function.
“MIPAC is directly exposed to major processing operations around the world and we have seen first-hand the need for advanced, modern process control technologies to streamline and automate operations for our customers.
“The creation of our Product Management group means we will be able to diversify MIPAC’s portfolio and offer our customers the technology and service solutions they need to improve mineral processing and other major production operations.” said Tony Mathison, Product Manager, MIPAC.
MIPAC is also taking a pro-active approach to customer relations by appointing its most experienced project manager, Don Robinson, to the global role of Customer Operations Manager. Don will work with MIPAC’s customers and project managers to ensure that every project meets and exceeds expectations and is executed and delivered to the highest standards.
“MIPAC recognises the critical nature of the projects we are involved with. Our customers are major greenfield and brownfield operations whose financial viability relies on the availability and efficiency of their plants. MIPAC’s reputation is founded on consistently delivering projects that achieve these aims and we believe the preservation of this record whilst expanding into larger and more diverse projects is absolutely critical to our business strategy.” said Don Robinson, Customer Operations Manager.
“We know that to remain competitive and do the best possible job every time, we need an overall view of relationships, requirements and resourcing around the globe.
“This new role will build upon MIPAC’s exemplary delivery record and ensure our customers are satisfied every time.”
