Mipac gets global recognition in Siemens industry magazine

Mipac was recognised as the Australian Siemens solution partner that was selected to design, install and commission the Siemens Simatic PCS7 control system at a major African copper smelter. The article emphasised the tried-and-tested technology as being behind the fast start-up and easy operation of Africa’s largest copper smelter at First Quantum Minerals (FQM) Kansanshi site.

In addition to FQM contributions and permission to publish, Mipac’s Brian Forrester (Project Manager) and Tim Hausler (Lead Engineer) provided content for the article published in the Siemens global magazine ‘The Magazine for the mining and cement industries’.

Brian and Tim have presented the FQM Kananshi PCS7 case study success at several Siemens organised seminars.
