Since launching its analytics offerings earlier this year, Mipac has won some sizeable contracts with major utilities and mining companies.
Mipac’s PI solutions developer is currently working for a large energy company on a specialised analysis scheduler.
“Once developed, this software will be useful to any of Mipac’s clients who use the PI asset framework to analyse capabilities in every aspect of their business.”
A major utility has also engaged Mipac to implement new historian software. This PI System™ is designed to help with energy management and is currently in a pilot trial. It is expected to be fully implemented in early 2013.
“Mipac Analytics is an opportunity for our clients in metals and mining, oil and gas, water and power utilities, and data centres to enhance their investment in historian software such as PI or ArchestrA by extending its capabilities throughout every aspect of their business,” Mipac Director Tony Mathison says.
“Mipac can automate your production/yield accounting, loss detection, plant-wide and unit balances and integrate them into your business system.
“We have a holistic approach which brings about long-term, wide-reaching benefits.”
