Our mission is to provide high-quality solutions to enhance the operational performance of mine sites and improve our clients’ productivity, safety and efficiency.
Since our humble beginnings as a small team of passionate engineers who wanted to make a difference, we’ve been rolling up our sleeves and tackling problems with real world experience.
While industrial automation and engineering are at the core of what we do, our expertise also includes the latest innovative enhancements in digital technology – from Advanced Process Control to data visualisation and analytics and cybersecurity to Mining 4.0 consulting.
Today, we have team members spread across 3 offices in Brisbane, Perth and Tucson – as well as a presence in Vancouver – and are proud of our ever-growing track record of global projects.

This year, as we celebrate International Women’s Day under the theme of 'Count her in: Invest in Women. Accelerate progress.', it's imperative to address the barriers faced by women in engineering and actively encourage and support women to pursue careers in STEM fields. As a start, we asked some of our women at Mipac what career advice they would give to their younger selves. Here’s what they said.
Jake Minehan always loved gadgets and building things, so it was no surprise that he decided to study mechatronics engineering at university. Now a graduate engineer at Mipac, working with one of the company’s biggest clients, he says on-the-job learning has been vastly different to sitting in a classroom. We sat down with him to find out why and to learn more about what’s it like to be a graduate engineer at Mipac. We sat down with both of them to discover how they ended up here, ask them about Mipac’s company culture and get their thoughts on the future of control systems engineering as a profession.
