Copper processing automation uses field instruments, control systems, plant data and advanced process control to keep every stage of a copper plant stable, from grinding and flotation to smelting and tankhouse refining. Mipac has done this work since 1997, starting with the copper concentrator and smelter at Mount Isa Mines in Queensland.
